Poster Week Day 4!
We’ve been privileged to create the poster for the Rock the Earth Summer Tour series for three years now! For 2013 we wanted to focus on renewable energy - wind, solar, and alternative transportation (which is perfect for this bike month of May ;)
The poster is also printed on 100% recycled paper, created with 100% green hydropower (just like ALL of our posters, btw!).

Country Western

Country Boy Brewing and West Sixth Brewing, two Lexington-based breweries, have brewed the first ever collaboration beer brewed by two Lexington breweries.

The beer, which will be called “Country Western” in a celebration of the collaboration, will be a hoppy pale ale, and will be released during Lexington’s first ever Craft Beer Week on May 13th-19th.
And it was a privilege to design their label!

Poster Week!
We’ve been working hard on a bunch of various event posters. This week we’ll be posting a new one each day. We feel very lucky that our hometown of Lexington is so good to us and we’re excited that every one of these posters is for a local KY event.
Today’s poster is for the upcoming Vintage Kentucky Wine & Beer Festival…this being the first year they’ve included beer…which makes it all the better!

Our book cover design for…The Kentucky BBQ Book.
“This is a love letter to the old Kentucky. It’s written from the heart, and Berry used his barbecue quest as an excuse to get off the interstates and savor the landscapes and people found along the blue highways and country roads of your state.”

The Lexington Tattoo Project
Oh, how to explain this project…Imagine a Love Letter to Lexington written by poet Bianca Spriggs permanently tattooed a word (or phrase) at a time across the bodies of Lexington. This is happening. Over 200 people (include Brian & myself) have signed up for words from this poem. Each person chose their top 3 words or phrases from the poem…and was assigned one of those 3.
Tonight - Brian and I will be getting our chosen words tattooed during a live event in which we also designed these limited edition shirts representing the project! We’re excited to be a part of this project as Cricket Press has never been shy about our love for Lexington.
As a note…here are the words we were given.Brian - Arboretum (where we were married)Sara - Lightning
