1-of-a-Kind Art PrintInspired by the film Super 8…this 1 of 1 print is part screenprint, part hand-coloring. The keylines from our Mint! Art Print were printed on white paper and silver ink splattered across the sky to create a random star pattern. Each boy’s jacket was then hand-colored with prismacolor. As a HUGE fan of the Super 8 film…I loved how each boy wore a different colored jacket during the end scenes. It was visually striking…establishing each boy as their own character while complimenting the group as a whole. It’s a little detail that shines. I’ve kept this poster hush-hush for over a year now…so, I’m super excited to finally be able to show our design for the film…
Something, Anything
Written and Directed by Paul HarrillProduced by Ashley MaynorSelf-Reliant Film presents a Nest Features production.
When a tragedy shatters her plans for domestic bliss, a seemingly typical Southern newlywed gradually transforms into a spiritual seeker, quietly threatening the closest relationships around her.
One of ten projects selected in 2013 for IFP’s Narrative Lab, the debut feature from filmmakers Paul Harrill and Ashley Maynor is both a meditative character study and an unconventional romance.
I was able to watch an early release of this film to help inspire the poster and it was so poignant and beautiful. If you have a chance…watch it.
