Lexington CLT is a new non-profit organization that will provide permanently affordable for-sale and rental homes for income-qualified people in Fayette County. Our first 80 - 100 homes will be built in Davis Park, formerly Davis Bottom, close to downtown Lexington. The neighborhood will also be home to a mix of retail stores and housing. The Community Land Trust will steward the land, making sure the businesses chosen will serve the needs of the neighborhood’s people.

Kentucky and specifically the central Kentucky Bluegrass Region are littered with various organized bicycle rides. Our goal is to create an experience where you enjoy the freedom of the bicycle, the beauty of the bluegrass, and the bounty of our farmers; all while witnessing the skills and knowledge of some of Kentucky’s most talented chefs.
What is it? Progressive “Meal” + “Metric” Century (a metric century is a 100km bicycle ride, roughly 62 miles, our route will be roughly 65 miles)
Why? Celebrate the thriving local food and beverage culture. Contribute to the vibrant bicycling scene. Raise awareness and money for Broke Spoke Community Bike Shop.

In case you haven’t been to our Empty Bowls charity event held annually at Bourbon n’ Toulouse restaurant, allow me to explain how it works. Local artists and clay enthusiasts spend the summer making handmade ceramic bowls at their studios or at Kentucky Mudworks’ “Bowl-a-thon” events. These bowls are then brought to Bourbon n’ Toulouse restaurant for the Empty Bowls charity event. During the event, everyone is invited to pick out a bowl (or two or three), give a $15 donation per bowl, and receive a delicious meal provided by Bourbon n’ Toulouse. All proceeds go to Moveable Feast of Lexington. Libations can also be purchased, and a good time is guaranteed by all!
