BIG THANKS!!!

THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support us at our Spring Clean Print Slam! It was 6 hours or intense awesomeness! Loved seeing all our early years of poster making displayed out over tables and tables and tables. And we really loved seeing folks go home with stacks of their own.

Again…thank you. We love you Lexington!

A few sneak peeks at what we’re digging out for this weekend’s event. Some of these editions have been sold-out for a long time, but we found copies that are gently damaged and/or were used & bruised during display. And there are A TON not damaged at all!

ONE DAY ONLY, at our Bread Box studio on Sunday, May 19th, from 12-6pm we will display stacks & stacks of past posters and art-prints for an incredible sale! Selected older editions, scratch & dent, and posters previously used for display will be only $5 each!

Bike Nite at The Bread Box
Join Cricket Press, Broke Spoke Community Bike Shop and West Sixth Brewing as we celebrate a trifecta of local awesomeness this Saturday night in conjunction with National Bike Month and American Craft Beer Week (two great things that go great together)! We’ll be opening the Cricket Press studio/gallery space to the public from 5pm - 8pm where we’ll have an exhibit of posters we’ve created for Lexington bike events throughout the years. This exhibit chronicles our involvement with Lexington’s bike scene going back to 2005, and you’ll see many posters that we’ve created for alleycat races, Bike Lexington, Bike Prom, Tweed Ride and much more. We’ll have bike-themed posters and prints for sale, as well as several bike themed t-shirts and of course our 50¢ Art Print Machine will be dispensing a new bike print! There’s so much more stuff going on at The Bread Box as well that night: In keeping with the bike theme, Broke Spoke Community Bike Shop will be celebrating their Grand Re-Opening in their new space, just around the corner from West Sixth Brewing (in the Bread Box building). There will be tours of the new space, and you can find out more about the shop and how you can support them, or get involved with their work. If that’s not enough, West Sixth Brewing will be celebrating American Craft Beer Week with their “Think Local Drink Local” event. They will be featuring their own brews as well as those of other Kentucky breweries.
